What does our subconscious hide from us? What fears do we not allow ourselves to explore in our writing? What terrors lie in the mundane? These are some of the questions we will explore in this workshop. WRITING QUEER HORROR is generative writing workshop where participants will mold the flesh of a new horror story concept in response to images, sounds, and text through a series of exercises designed to let your imagination and impulses take control. There will also be a group discussion at the top of the class about what defines “Queer Horror.” No writing experience or prepared materials required, this is open to anyone who is interested!
