UNCENSORED: NO NEED TO OVERTHINK IT isn’t a polite play about teenagers, it is a fierce, funny, and explosive original work devised by the 16 artists of the 2026 MCC Youth Company Performance Lab Ensemble. Lead collaborator KAREEM M LUCAS facilitates two weekly workshops over the spring semester centering the voices of high-school-aged artists. Through the exploration of writing, devising, movement, and design exercises, the ensemble collaborates to develop original content that elevates the ideas and experiences that reflect the world they live in and wish to create. Performance Lab culminates in the annual production of UNCENSORED at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space. Tix are free.
