UNCENSORED: BENEATH THE SURFACE
NYC TEENS – SPEAKING THEIR TRUTH
MCC Youth Company Performance Lab’s UNCENSORED 2023 takes the stage in the Newman Mills Theater. The students have been reflecting, writing and rehearsing in preparation for a show that will deliver their raw and uncensored viewpoints on the world as they see it.
The theme Beneath the Surface was inspired by their interest in digging deep and asking audiences to go beyond what they think they see.
UNCENSORED is a celebration of young voices who speak to their experiences, hopes and dreams reflecting on today, while looking toward the future.
