Being part of the MCC community means you already know that theater is a COLLABORATION — between artists and audiences, storytellers and dreamers, mentors and young voices.
That’s why 39 years ago, MCC Theater was founded on the belief that no one makes theater alone. COLLABORATION has been a core value for MCC from the start, and 2025 has been no exception.
Just this year, you’ve been collaborating with us in more ways than you might realize. Your support has helped us:
- COLLAB WITH YOUNG PEOPLE through our Ambassadors program and Youth Company, giving students a space to create, explore, and tell their own stories.
- COLLAB WITH ARTISTS to bring bold new stories to life, from Emmanuelle Mattana’s TROPHY BOYS to Preston Max Allen’s CAROLINE — plus an exciting slate of upcoming productions like Ro Reddick’s COLD WAR CHOIR PRACTICE and Jonathan Spector’s BIRTHRIGHT.
- COLLAB WITH NEW PARTNERS like Clubbed Thumb and Page 73 to reach fresh audiences with fearless new work.

And now as we head into the end of the year, we want to collab with you once more. MCC isn’t fueled just by the artists on stage or the folks behind the scenes — it’s built by everyone in our community who believes in our work.
So, will you COLLAB with MCC once again by making a gift today? Your gift will:
- Show young creatives that their voices matter by providing stipends that affirm their work and make participation in the MCC Youth Company truly accessible.
- Give playwrights, directors, and artists the space to take risks and develop bold new work.
- Expand access to theater that provokes conversation and inspires change through our collaboration with community partners across the city.
And right now, your collaboration will go twice as far — thanks to a group of MCC Board members and donors who are matching all gifts up to $100,000 through DEC 31.
We are endlessly grateful to be in partnership with you, now and always. LET’S COLLAB this holiday season to keep building the kind of theater that makes us laugh, cry, learn, and grow — together.
Warmly,
