If your heart called out would you listen? Could you listen?” If you’re looking for a new artistic home or an amazing organization to support, MCC is hosting an event that’s helping craft paths for New Yorkers to chase their dreams.

CRAFTING COMMUNITY will take place in the lobby of MCC theater on NOV 12 during and after our 2:00 performance, and before our 8:00 performance of ONLY GOLD. This event will include representatives tabling from arts organizations that create space for all artists. Partners include New York City Jewelry Week, Fountain House Gallery, and more.

NYC Jewelry Week

NYC Jewelry Week (November 14-20th) is a values-driven platform and organization committed to modernizing the jewelry industry by building bridges between audience and industry, providing access to opportunities for makers and entrepreneurs, passing the mic to diverse voices, and building a stronger community together. We believe that jewelry is for everyone and it is essential that our platform reflect that belief.

Poetic Theater Productions

Poetic Theater Productions seeks to define the modern genre of “poetic theater” by connecting and fostering a community of artists who are passionately creating relevant and accessible work and reinvigorating a conscious theater of language. Poetic Theater Productions offers resources and opportunities for poets, playwrights, and theater artists to create new work and see it through to production via educational workshops, developmental readings and performance. PTP seeks out and creates opportunities to connect with communities affected by the issues of topic within our productions through collaborative projects and exchanges of art and ideas.
