Phone-Free Performance Policy
For select performances at MCC, we have used phone pouches to protect the privacy of our performers. The information below only applies to those performances; the majority of the events at MCC do not require you to secure your phone in a phone pouch, though we still request that you turn your phone off so as not to disturb the performers. If a performance is using phone pouches, it will say so both on the event webpage for that performance and in your preshow email.
Some events at MCC Theater are designated phone-free to protect the privacy of the performers. Upon entering the theater, phones will be secured in Yondr pouches, which will be unlocked at the end of the show. You will maintain possession of your phone at all times. Access to a “phone zone” will be available at intermissions for you to use your devices.
We will request that you turn off your phone and/or silence the ringer before placing your phone in the Yondr pouch. If your phone is left on, it will ring in the pouch during the show and set alarms may go off.
Anyone seen using their device during the performance will be required to leave immediately, without a refund of your ticket.
