PUBLIC HEALTH SAFETY UPDATE: COVID-19
The health and safety of our community – audiences, artists, students, and staff – is important to us, especially during this period as we monitor information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact. We are continuing to evaluate and update our procedures according to the guidance of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and state and city officials for recommendations and direction. The latest updates will be posted on this website and on our social media channels.
Unless otherwise directed by public health officials, all performances, public programs, and events will go on as scheduled. If there are cancellations or changes to our schedule, we will notify all ticketholders immediately. Additionally, cancellation notices will be posted on our social media channels and outgoing voicemail.
STEPS TO KEEP OUR SPACE SAFE
We request that anyone who is feeling unwell stay home. To exchange your ticket(s) due, please contact our Box Office at (646) 506-9393 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
MCC Theater is committed to addressing this threat seriously and proactively. To safeguard our audiences, artists, students, and staff we are implementing additional sanitation measures throughout the lobby, bathrooms, and theaters before each performance. Tissues are placed throughout The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space lobby. Handwashing facilities are available in all restrooms. Informational signs are displayed in every restroom reminding everyone of best practices to promote health and prevent the spread of infection.
To reduce hand to hand contact and the spread of germs we also provide e-tickets as an option for all of our performances. Our house management team can scan the ticket directly from your phone and you don’t have to pick up physical tickets from the box office.
We will continue to update our policies as new information is available. Please monitor the Health Department’s website and social media channels. We encourage you to continue to pay close attention to the announcements and advice of these public health experts.
